About Us

Our Motive

Skateboarding has always been more than just an activity. It’s a community and a form of self-expression. However, in the past it has been closely associated with substance abuse, consequently acting as a gateway into drug use for many teenagers. As members of this community, we’ve seen this struggle firsthand, among strangers and close friends. It’s frustrating to watch something as freeing as skateboarding be overshadowed by the normalization of drug use.

To redefine what skate culture stands for, we created “The Push Forward Project”. Instead of being a path toward substance abuse, we believe skateboarding should be an escape from it. Our mission is to build a supportive community that gives skaters another option, rooted in connection and strength. Through outreach and awareness, we’re working to make skateboarding a force for positive change.

Skaters aren’t the problem, a lack of support is. We’re here to change that.

Our Team

Our Vision

At The Push Forward Project, we believe skateboarding should build people up, not break them down. Skate culture has left many people trapped in harmful substance abuse cycles.

Instead of skating being something negative and damaging, we want it to be a tool for growth and self-expression. We aim to shift the narrative, showing that skateboarding can be a path to strength, discipline, and a better future.

We see a world where skaters aren’t judged by stereotypes, but recognized for their passion and perseverance. The Push Forward Project is here to prove that skateboarding doesn’t have to ruin lives. In reality, it can save them.
